India defeated Desportivo das Caldas in their first practice game on the Portugal training tour. The final score-line was 4-1 to the visitors at the Pilado ground. Abhishek Yadav opened the scores as early as the 7th minute of the game.
More goals followed in the first-half with the provider of the first goal - Steven Dias getting his name on the score sheet with the second goal of the match. NP Pradeep then drove home a stunning goal from 30 yards out in the 38th minute. Desportivo pulled one back almost immediately to take make it 3-1 at half time.
In the second-half substitute Baldeep Singh scored in the 70th minute to confirm the victory.
