Based in Belgrade, Serbia, Partizan is one of the most successful clubs in the Serbian Superliga. Winner of 22 national championships and 12 national cups, Partizan has set the benchmark for other Serbian teams. It is second only to Red Star Belgrade in terms of overall popularity in Serbia.
They dominated the domestic stage in the 60’s and 70’s winning 6 national titles. They also won 2 consecutive from 2007 to 2010.
Partizan remains to this day as the only Serbian team to make it to the group stages of the Champions League since its inception in 1992. They achieved this feat in the 2003-04 edition of the tournament.
They also made it to the Champions League in 2010-11 but finished last in a group consisting of Arsenal, Shakhtar Donetsk and Sporting Braga.
